Collections

There are images associated with some, but not all objects. We shall add further images in the future.

Peter Anson was a maritime artist who painted scenes associated with fishing life, particularly the North-east of Scotland, during the early and mid twentieth century. If you would like to purchase a copy of a painting, then use Art Prints by Peter Anson to go direct to the e-shop.

The Moray Heritage Centre has recently begun a project to make archive catalogues available online. The A J Morrison collection (reference DGV) of architectural drawings, including the work of Charles Doig - famous for the design of many of the distinctive distilleries in Scotland, is now available. We hope to make further archive catalogues available shortly.

The Moray Museums Service normally requires 14 days notice in order to retrieve objects from storage, in response to an enquiry.
